The family of a girl who died when the boat she was once on collided with a water bike are “deeply insecure and devastated by her unexpected demise”, police gain said.
Jane Walker, 52, from Staffordshire, was once a passenger on the inflexible inflatable boat (RIB) when it crashed off Anglesey shut to Menai Bridge on Saturday.
She was once taken to clinic following the incident but later died.
North Wales Police said it was once liaising with the Marine Accident Investigation Branch and appealed for witnesses.
Det Ch Insp Brian Kearney said the force had begun an investigation to “ascertain the sequence of events leading as much as this collision”.
He said the coroner for north west Wales Dewi Pritchard Jones had been told.
“Our strategies are with the family and chums of Mrs Walker at present,” he said.
An announcement from the force said: “Jane’s family are deeply insecure and devastated by the unexpected passing of their vital-loved member of the family.
