A man has been shot by police and “sustained excessive accidents” in Cheshire, it has been confirmed.
An eyewitness told the BBC he heard two shots fired in Runcorn, after shouts of “armed police, demonstrate us your fingers”.
The “isolated incident” took put after officers were known as to The Knoll, at about 13: 20 BST, Cheshire Police acknowledged.
Officers were alerted as a result of concerns for the safety of the person that is in health center, the force acknowledged.
