A senior member of staff has been suspended at a dance college going thru allegations of defective sexual behaviour in direction of college students.
Ballet West, which has its headquarters in Taynuilt, Argyll, has launched a probe into the claims about regarded as one of its staff.
The college’s board has now suspended a senior member of staff.

An announcement from the firm mentioned its board “takes the welfare of school students extraordinarily seriously and is determined that these matters are handled totally”.
It added: “Dr Kirsty Hood, QC, has been asked to handbook an impartial, external inquiry into allegations of defective behaviour in direction of college students at the college by a member of staff.
“In light of allegations, the board has now suspended a senior member of staff, pending the external investigation.”
Ballet West has notified Police Scotland of the allegations though no criminality has been established up to now.
